Bryant Stevenson's practice is limited to federal immigration law, with a focus on corporate immigration matters, foreign investors and entrepreneurs, and immigration-related compliance. He routinely represents clients in matters involving immigration benefit applications, as well as in enforcement proceedings before federal agencies such as the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Labor, the Department of Justice, and the Department of State. Additionally, Bryant is experienced in handling immigration-related appellate matters before federal agencies and the federal courts.
Bryant also consults with clients on administrative compliance issues, including export control compliance under the International Traffic In Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) with regard to the involvement of non-U.S. citizen personnel, and on immigration regulation compliance involving the I-9 and E-Verify processes.
As a former member of a first-tier national labor and employment law firm, Bryant has extensive experience offering immigration advice to clients that have included Fortune 100 companies and multinational corporations, and to clients in industries such as information technology, engineering, aerospace, defense contracting, banking, manufacturing, construction, insurance, higher education, and hospitality. He also has substantial experience aiding foreign entrepreneurs and investors in the establishment of new U.S. branch operations or in the creation of entirely new U.S. businesses, having previously worked with foreign entrepreneurs and investors to establish everything from a hedge fund management company to a casino property.
Bryant graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration, and received his J.D. from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, and Rotary International.
