OUR LAWYERS
BRYANT STEVENSON • TONY SILVA • MARYAM STEVENSON • CHRIS GANTER
Chris Ganter's practice focuses on intellectual property law, and includes a heavy emphasis on federal immigration law. Chris works with foreign investors, entrepreneurs, and multi-national entities to ensure that intellectual properties accompanying new U.S. businesses and operations are adequately protected, and that any existing foreign intellectual property protections are similarly implemented in the U.S. He routinely assists clients with patent, trademark, copyright, internet domain name infringement, and trade secret law issues, helping to obtain the broadest legal protections available for clients' intellectual properties and to ensure that those properties are not infringed upon in the future. Additionally, Chris works with foreign investors and entrepreneurs to help them and their families immigrate to the U.S. and to set up new U.S. businesses and operations in compliance with U.S. immigration laws.
Chris earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Auburn University, a Master of Science in Environmental Management from Samford University, and a J.D. from Cumberland School of Law. He is admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Prior to entering the legal profession, Chris spent time in the pulp and paper industry as an engineer focusing on environmental compliance.
